Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler to high and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the mustard glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Broil for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh herbs.

Tips for the Perfect Broiled Salmon

  • For even cooking, make sure fillets are the same thickness.
  • Keep an eye on the salmon while broiling to avoid burning the glaze.
  • Adjust broiling time based on the thickness of your fillets.
