- 4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 16 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves

Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and dry the tomatoes and basil leaves. Slice the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into approximately 1/4-inch thick slices.
- Assemble the Salad: On a large platter, arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices in an alternating pattern, slightly overlapping them. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the slices.
- Season and Dress: Drizzle the assembled salad with extra-virgin olive oil, ensuring an even distribution. If using, drizzle a balsamic glaze over the top. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
