- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon while cooking. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the beef evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Toss in shredded carrots and cook for one minute to slightly soften.
