Ingredients

  • 2 cups steel-cut oats

  • 5 cups water

  • Optional: ½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Instant Pot: Lightly spray the inner pot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  2. Combine Ingredients: Add steel-cut oats, water, and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot.

  3. Seal and Cook: Secure the lid and set the valve to the sealing position. Select the “Pressure Cook” or “Manual” setting and set the timer for 4 minutes .

  4. Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes.

  5. Stir and Serve: Open the lid carefully, stir the oats to combine any remaining liquid, and serve hot.
